Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy governs all refund and cancellation requests on the YallaTonight platform. Please read carefully before completing any booking.

1. What Is Refunded and What Is Kept

A booking is refunded differently depending on who cancels it.

If you cancel your own booking in time, the ticket price is returned to you minus YallaTonight's commission, and YallaTonight's booking fee is kept. The commission and the booking fee cover the booking service already delivered — issuing, holding and guaranteeing your ticket — and are not returned when the cancellation comes from you. Any cancellation-insurance premium you paid is likewise not returned.

If the event is cancelled, or YallaTonight cancels your booking, the entire amount you paid is returned, including the commission and the booking fee. Nothing is kept in that case, because the night did not take place and there is no cancellation on your part to charge for.

Two limits apply in both cases:

• Bookings paid in cash at the door are not refunded by YallaTonight. That money was paid to the venue and never received by YallaTonight, so it must be settled with the venue directly.
• A booking is refunded once. Once a refund has been issued for a booking, no further refund can be issued for the same booking.

2. Cancelling Your Own Booking

Every event has a single cancellation deadline, and it is stated on that event's page. Each venue sets the deadline for its own nights, and the one that applies is shown on that event's page before you book. There is no other window and no other condition, except for bookings you pay at the door (see the last paragraph of this section).

Before the deadline: you can cancel from your dashboard, and the refund set out in Section 1 — the ticket price minus YallaTonight's commission — is credited to your YallaTonight wallet immediately.

After the deadline: the cancellation option is refused and no refund is due, including where you simply do not attend.

There is no reduced percentage for cancelling late and no tiered scale. Before the deadline the refund described in Section 1 is made; after it, nothing is refunded.

If you bought cancellation insurance for a booking at checkout, the deadline does not apply to that booking and you may cancel it at any time before the event. The insurance extends the time you have to cancel; it does not increase the amount refunded.

Bookings you pay at the door: nothing is charged when you book, so the deadline above does not apply to them. You can cancel such a booking from your ticket at any time before the event starts — for a trip or boat, before departure — and your place is released. There is nothing to refund, because nothing was paid. Once you have paid at the door, that money was paid to the venue and is settled with the venue, as set out in Section 1.

3. Table & VIP Bookings

A table or VIP booking is cancelled and refunded on exactly the same terms as any other booking on the Platform. There is no separate deposit rule and no separate deadline.

The single cancellation deadline shown on that event's page applies, as set out in Section 2. Cancel before it, and the amount you paid for the table — deposit or ticket price — is returned to your YallaTonight wallet on the terms in Section 1: minus YallaTonight's commission, with the booking fee kept. Cancel after it, or simply not attend, and no refund is due. If the event is cancelled, Section 4 applies and the full amount comes back, commission and booking fee included.

One point is specific to tables: any minimum spend agreed with the venue is a matter between you and the venue, and paying a deposit through YallaTonight does not discharge it.

4. Event Cancellation by the Organizer

If an event is cancelled after tickets have been sold, YallaTonight notifies ticket holders by email and/or push notification and issues the refund itself, automatically. You do not need to request it, and you do not need to pursue the Organizer for your money.

The refund is the full amount you paid, including YallaTonight's booking fee and service charge, and it is credited to your YallaTonight wallet as part of processing the cancellation. The same applies where YallaTonight cancels a booking itself.

The one exception is a booking paid in cash at the door, as set out in Section 1: YallaTonight never received that money, and it must be settled with the venue.

5. How to Request a Refund

To cancel a booking and receive any refund due on it:

1. Log in to your YallaTonight dashboard and open the booking.
2. Use the "Cancel Booking" option. It is available until that event's cancellation deadline — or at any time before the event if you bought cancellation insurance for the booking.
3. If the option is not available — for example the deadline has passed, or the booking is no longer confirmed — submit a Support Ticket with your Booking ID and the reason for the request. Please note that no refund is due for a cancellation made after the deadline.

Refunds are credited to your YallaTonight balance immediately, as part of the same cancellation — there is no waiting period and no approval queue. That balance is used to pay for future bookings on YallaTonight. It is not transferred to a card or a bank account.

Bookings you pay at the door: open the booking and use the "Cancel Booking" option at any time before the event starts (before departure for a trip or boat). Nothing was charged, so there is no refund to request — your place is simply released.

6. Force Majeure & No-Fault Cancellations

Where government-mandated closures, natural disasters, public-health measures or other force majeure events prevent an event from taking place and the event is cancelled on the Platform, Section 4 applies in full: the entire amount you paid is returned, including YallaTonight's booking fee and service charge, credited automatically to your YallaTonight wallet. YallaTonight does not treat its commission as non-refundable in these circumstances.

Where the event goes ahead but you are personally unable to attend, the ordinary rules in Section 2 apply: cancel before that event's cancellation deadline and the refund in Section 1 is made; after the deadline, no refund is due.
